Biography

I obtained my Architecture degree from l’Escola Tecnica Superior d’Arquitectura de Barcelona, in 2004. After 7 years of work experience in practices in Barcelona collaborating in building and urban design projects, I moved to the UK and achieved my Master degree in Theory and Practice of Sustainable Design from WSA, in 2011. For three years I worked as a research assistant on the Welsh Energy Sector Training Project (WEST) as part of the Low Carbon Research Institute (LCRI). Part of my work was the development and delivery of courses in relation to the Low Carbon Built Environment such as ‘Welsh Timber in Building Construction’ or ‘Low Carbon Building Principles’.

In 2015, I changed career path to Teaching and Scholarship and now I am involved mainly in teaching activities in the postgraduate programs MA Urban Design and Architectural Science Masters. I have also worked as a Sustainable Architecture Lead Tutor in the BEST (Built Environment Sustainability Training) project.
