Research
My research interest revolved mainly around robotics. Currently more specifically around Social Robot Navigation (SRN). However, I focus on the path and motion planning aspect of SRN. Currently I collaborate with researchers from ESPOL university with whom I have research publications as part of my PhD.
Teaching
I support and teach the module Introduction to Computational Robotics at COMSC. I am responsible for the lab and practical sessions of the module in which I present simulation demos of robots for robot navigation and manipulation.
Biography
Obtained my Mechatronics Engineer Bachelor's degree from the ESPOL (Guayaquil, Ecuador) where I started my journey in robotics. Afterwards, I worked for a year as a Research Assistant for IROHMS at Cardiff University. And then became a Teaching Associate and PhD student. Right now I am on the middle of my PhD studies and hope to finish by middle 2026.
My research is focused on Social Robot Navigation, more specifically related to the Path/Motion Planning aspect. I hold collaborations over this topic with researchers from ESPOL.
