Overview
I graduated from Cardiff University in 2019 with an integrated master's MEng first-class degree in mechanical engineering. Following this I obtained my PhD in 2024 titled 'The Effect of Manipulated Flows on Fish Kinematics and
Behaviour at Migratory Barriers' supervised by Prof Jo Cable and Prof Catherine Wilson and in partnership with the Environment Agency and as part of the NERC GW4 FRESH CDT.
Main research focus areas include hydrodynamics, kinematics and fish behaviour at freshwater anthropogenic migratory barriers and passes, and Nature-based Solutions for small catchments, primarily Natural Flood Management monitoring.
