Overview

I am a qualitative researcher based at the public health research centre, DECIPHer, within School of Social Sciences.

I have been based at DECIPHer since 2016 and I have worked across a number of different areas within public health, however, my current focus is on violence prevention and mental health and wellbeing in non-mainstream education settings. I have extensive experience conducting evaluability assessments and process evaluations on settings-based interventions, such as the South Wales Violence Prevention Teams and wider national level policies, such as the Whole School Approach to Mental Health and Emotional Wellbeing. I regularly collaborate with a variety of stakeholders, including young people, schools, local and national government officials, charity and other third sector organisations and national bodies.
