Research Associate – Statistics
Overview
I joined the Centre for Trials Research in 2020 as a Research Associate in Statistics. I have experience of clinical trial research in cardiovascular disease, cancer and Type 1 diabetes. I have worked in the INNODIA global partnership, as trial statistician for MELD-ATG and Ver-A-T1D, the goal of these clinical intervention trials conducted within INNODIA, is to halt the further decline in beta cell functionality in people with newly diagnosed T1D, addressing the immune system or the beta cells by different treatment modalities.
I now work on CARE Lab, where the aim is to gain a better understanding of the population receiving care and support, to inform service planning and strategies to reduce inequalities, and to demonstrate the value of linked administrative data for adult social care research in Wales.
