Rwy'n rheoli'r Labordy Roboteg a Systemau Ymreolaethol, sy'n darparu cyfleusterau robotig arloesol, gan gynnwys dau robot Kuka Lbr iiwa, Robotnik Vogui +, tri youbot Kuka, rhai turtlebots, rhai dronau, systemau golwg uwch (camerâu 3D, ac ati), a synwyryddion. Rwyf wedi dal sawl swydd fel ymchwilydd a pheiriannydd roboteg a systemau ymreolaethol yn y byd academaidd a diwydiant (Dyson, Lenovo, a Autonomous Surface Vehicles). Noddwyd fy PhD fel rhan o brosiect FP6 yr UE, TAI-CHI (Tangible Acoustic Interfaces for Computer Human Interaction), a enillodd wobr arddangosfa orau arddangosfa FP6 yr UE yn Helsinki, y Ffindir, yn 2006.
Mae fy mhrofiad ymchwil mewn roboteg yn eang, gan gynnwys robotiaid symudol dan do, manipulators robot diwydiannol, robotiaid humanoid, a cherbydau wyneb ymreolaethol di-griw awyr agored. Mae fy ymchwil yn canolbwyntio'n bennaf ar Robot Perception And Learning (RoPAL), gan gwmpasu ystod eang o bynciau, gan gynnwys lleoleiddio a mapio ar y pryd (SLAM), gweledigaeth robot, dysgu atgyfnerthu robot, synhwyro cyffyrddol, dysgu dwfn, synhwyro craff, a'u cymwysiadau ar lywio robot ymreolaethol, trin ac, yn fwy eang, gweithgynhyrchu craff.
Yn Dyson, fel peiriannydd systemau roboteg, rwyf wedi ffeilio a chyhoeddi patentau ym maes roboteg symudol. Y prif brosiect yno oedd y robot Dyson 360, sy'n defnyddio camera 360 ar gyfer lleoleiddio a mapio dan do (Visual SLAM). Gweithiais yn Lenovo ar roboteg gwasanaeth, fel Pensaer Systemau Robotig ac Arweinydd Technegol tîm o 10 ymchwilydd a pheiriannydd gyda chefndir mewn dysgu peiriannau, gweledigaeth gyfrifiadurol, slam, cwmwl, ac IoT. Yn ASV (Cerbydau Arwyneb Ymreolaethol), rwyf wedi llwyddo, fel aelod ymchwil craidd, wedi cyflawni sawl prosiect a ariennir gan Innovate UK, DSTL, a NOC/SBRI. Cyn y rhain, roeddwn wedi bod yn gweithio fel cymrawd ymchwil yn y byd academaidd ar gyfer nifer o brosiectau FP6 a FP7 yr UE, megis TAI-CHI, IWARD (Intelligent Robot Swarm for Attendance, Recognition, Cleaning, and Delivery), ROBOSKIN (Skin-based technologies and capabilities for safe, autonomous and interactive robots), a SRS (Multi-Role Shadow Robotic System for Independent Living).
