Rwy'n Gydymaith Addysgu Rhan-Amser yn Ysgol y Gwyddorau Cyfrifiadurol a Mathemategol ym Mhrifysgol Caerdydd ac yn Ymchwilydd Ôl-ddoethurol yn yr Adran Gyfrifiadureg ym Mhrifysgol Abertawe. Mae fy ymchwil yn eistedd ar groesffordd Rhyngweithio Dynol-Cyfrifiadur (HCI), Rhyngweithio Dynol-Robot (HRI), ac AI Cyfrifol, gan ganolbwyntio ar ddylunio technolegau sy'n gynhwysol, yn ddiwylliannol sensitif, ac yn fuddiol i gymunedau amrywiol.
Cwblheais fy PhD ym Mhrifysgol Caerdydd, lle archwilio dylunio Robotiaid Cynorthwyol Cymdeithasol (SARs) ar gyfer oedolion hŷn ym Mhacistan. Archwiliodd fy ymchwil sut mae ffactorau diwylliannol, ieithyddol a chymdeithasol yn dylanwadu ar fabwysiadu technolegau sy'n dod i'r amlwg ac yn tynnu sylw at bwysigrwydd dylunio technolegau sy'n sensitif i gyd-destunau lleol ac anghenion defnyddwyr.
Mae fy ymchwil gyfredol yn canolbwyntio ar degwch ac AI cyfrifol. Mae gen i ddiddordeb mewn deall a mynd i'r afael â rhagfarn mewn systemau AI, ac mewn archwilio sut y gellir dylunio a gwerthuso technolegau sy'n dod i'r amlwg i gefnogi defnyddwyr a chymunedau amrywiol yn well.
Ochr yn ochr â'm hymchwil, rwy'n addysgu ar draws ystod o fodiwlau cyfrifiadurol israddedig ac ôl-raddedig. Rwy'n mwynhau gweithio gyda myfyrwyr o wahanol gefndiroedd a'u cefnogi i ddatblygu sgiliau technegol, meddwl beirniadol, a hyder wrth gymhwyso cysyniadau cyfrifiadurol i heriau'r byd go iawn.
