Trosolwyg
Rwy'n ddarllenydd gwyddorau cymdeithasol. Mae fy niddordebau ymchwil yn cael eu llywio gan 'argyfwng' nifer yn y gwyddorau cymdeithasol a mentrau sydd â'r nod o ymgysylltu myfyrwyr gwyddorau cymdeithasol â dulliau meintiol. Yn benodol, mae fy ymchwil diweddar wedi canolbwyntio ar le ymchwil feintiol mewn cymdeithaseg.
Ym mis Hydref 2020, cefais fy mhenodi i rôl Cyd-Gyfarwyddwr Canolfan Ragoriaeth Dulliau Meintiol Caerdydd Q-Step mewn Addysgu Dulliau Meintiol. Mae canolfan Caerdydd yn un o 15 canolfan sydd wedi'u lleoli mewn sefydliadau addysg uwch yn y DU sy'n archwilio dulliau arloesol a newydd o ymgysylltu â myfyrwyr gwyddorau cymdeithasol gyda dulliau ymchwil meintiol. Fel Cyd-gyfarwyddwr Canolfan Caerdydd, rwy'n cynrychioli'r Brifysgol mewn digwyddiadau rhwydweithio, yn gwerthuso effeithiolrwydd darpariaeth hyfforddi dulliau meintiol yr Ysgol, yn arwain ar ein gweithgareddau allgymorth ac ehangu cyfranogiad ac yn cysylltu â rhanddeiliaid allanol gan gynnwys sefydliadau lleol sy'n gallu cynnal myfyrwyr lleoliad.
Rwyf hefyd yn Gyd-gyfarwyddwr Ymgysylltu a Llais Myfyrwyr ar gyfer Ysgol y Gwyddorau Cymdeithasol. Mae'r rôl hon yn cynnwys datblygu mentrau newydd i wella profiad myfyrwyr, monitro metrigau perfformiad boddhad myfyrwyr a chefnogi systemau cynrychiolaeth myfyrwyr.
