I am a lecturer of Social Sciences based in the Cardiff Q-Step Centre of Excellence in Quantitative Methods Teaching (www.cardiff.ac.uk/qstep). My main role includes leading and supporting the Q-Step Placement module. As part of this, I am responsible for maintaining and developing links between Q-Step, the further education sector and related external agencies. I also teach on a number of substantive and research methods modules within the School of Social Sciences. My recent work has focussed on the place of quantitative research methods in British Sociology.
