Overview
I’m currently pursuing my PhD at the School of Social Sciences at Cardiff University, Wales, UK. My research focuses on building more just and sustainable food systems for female smallholder farmers in Gulu District, Uganda. I hold a Master’s degree in Education from the University of the Witwatersrand, South Africa, where I specialized in Education and Work.
I’ve worked on various international research projects in vocational education (https://www.vetafrica4-0.com/ ), agriculture (https://www.vetafrica4-0.com/raell/ ), and skills development for just transitions in Uganda, South Africa, and Zimbabwe, collaborating with institutions such as Gulu University, the University of Nottingham, and the University of Cambridge. My work is driven by a passion for empowering marginalized communities through education and skills development, especially in relation to climate resilience and food systems.
I’m excited to continue building partnerships and contributing to global conversations about sustainable development. Let’s connect and explore how we can create more equitable opportunities for all!
