Overview

Hi! I am a PhD student in the School of Modern Languages. I am interested in philosophy, critical theory, posthuman studies, and film. My work centres on the thought of Slavoj Žižek. I aim to apply his psychoanalytic and Hegelian approach to explore posthuman themes from ontological, ethical, and political perspectives, with a particular focus on the crisis of subjectivity in posthuman contexts. I am also interested in applying my theoretical research to the analysis of science fiction novels and cinema.
