Overview

I have majored in landscape architecture for undergraduate and a Msc of urban planning. Now I am investigating the micro scope urban renewal projects in Beijing China. Aparts from academic experience I have work in human resource, architecture and administration sectors each for more than one year. 

Research

I am particularly interested in how power plays out in contemporary grassroot urban renewal projects in China which involves the usage of information and communication technologies (ICTs). In specific, I want to understand how ICTs are embedded within a complex series of technologies through which power exercises and how these processed affect each individuals. 

Thesis

The Critique of Micro Urban Renewal: Investigating How ICT-mediated Power Relations Play out Based on a Case Study--Jingdian No.1 in Shuangjing Community, Chaoyang District, Beijing, China.
